Why are Groups and Home Teams important?
You were not meant to do life alone. We need each other to live out the hope of our faith. Life is meant to be shared with other people. At Curtis Lake, we have created smaller communities – Home Teams and Small Groups. These groups are where people connect and do life together. Small Groups are specialized groups that focus on a particular topic and use a set curriculum. Home Teams focus on community and how God is leading and teaching through sermon topics, Bible or other suggested reading during the semester. Home Teams and Small Groups meet weekly in the Greater Sanford area to share life and faith.
Home Teams and Small Groups meet throughout the year. We have sessions in fall, winter, spring and summer. Each group lasts from 8-12 weeks and are open to everyone who is ready to do life together. Life together is better!
