CLYM is our programming area for Junior High and High School students. Here at Curtis Lake, we offer several opportunities for your teenager to get plugged in and be a part of our church family. In addition to Club during the week, your teen can get connected through a small group where they will be challenged to develop their faith in many different ways.
Junior High Club (for 7th – 8th grade) is an opportunity for students to come together, play games, sing songs, build relationships and hear about the love of Jesus and what it means to have a relationship with Him.
There are three weekly small group opportunities for Junior High Students:
Sunday at 9:30 AM
Sunday at 11:00AM
Monday at 6:15PM
Junior High small groups will launch on April 23, 2017, and will meet in the Gold Room.
The Landing is for teenagers who are struggling to live their lives in a healthy, God-honoring way. A sister program to Celebrate Recovery, The Landing is a safe, healing place where teenagers can live a freer, healthier, and more God-centered life.
This group meets on Tuesday’s at 6:30PM in The Alley at Curtis Lake Church.
Student Volunteers are the Key
Not only is volunteering a great way for a teen to get plugged in at Curtis Lake, but our church thrives when students volunteer in significant areas of service. Below are a list of opportunities for teens to get involved in serving their church.
- Serving in Nursery or Pre-School
- Co-leading a small group in Kidz Church
- Serving on our media/production team in both Kidz Church, the Alley or in the Main Auditorium.
- Special event child care
- Special event set up and clean up
