In 2008, I stepped foot onto Berea’s campus for the first time for Winter Camp- with all of my youth group friends and leaders. We had an incredible weekend and it is a memory I hold dearly. 

Fast-forward to January of 2020, I had the opportunity to lead our first group of students at Berea for the first time in 12 years. Knowing that some of the students on the trip were born the year I first attended the camp myself not only made me feel old, but also so thankful to be able to partner with a ministry with such a solid legacy. 

Since 2020, I have been a participant and speaker several times at Berea, and have been able to lead students and women (and send the men) to camps designed specifically for them! If you are looking for a place to connect with both God and others from Curtis Lake, I strongly recommend jumping on one of our upcoming trips! 

Shaina is a wife, mom (of 4) and pastor here at Curtis Lake. She has been attending Curtis Lake her entire life and cannot imagine life away from this incredible faith community.
