Our passion at Curtis Lake is to help people know and follow Jesus. As someone who has been given unique gifts, talents and tools, you are invited to find your fit. That simply means finding a place you feel comfortable and able to use what God has given you to help our faith community realize our passion. arts & technology

In order to create an engaging and meaningful worship experience, it takes many hands. From musicians to technicians, designers to set builders, there are plenty of roles for the creatives among us.

  • Worship team

    Do you love to sing and/or play an instrument? Members of our Worship Team rehearse each Thursday evening and lead our congregation during both services. There are also opportunities in other environments, such as Young Adults Collective and Student Ministry. For more information, contact Worship Team Leader Caleb Randall.

  • photography

    videography

    With lots of events and activities, a team of photographers and videographers is vital in creating engaging collateral (including this website) that will celebrate and communicate what God is doing in and through Curtis Lakers. Contact Sharon Rogers if you would like to put your photography/videography talent to use.

  • audio/Visual tech

    Whether supporting our live streams or the in person worship experience, A/V Techs play an important role in communicating the Gospel. No experience is required, our Tech Team will train you on lights, cameras, computer, or sound equipment. Opportunities exist not only on Sunday mornings, but during other programs like Young Adults Collective, Student Ministry and Maine Event.   • set build

    Are you handy with a hammer or have a creative mind that likes to design? Our stage, and occasionally other environments, are regularly given a new look to accentuate a series topic or special occasion. If you would like to help create a visually welcoming atmosphere contact Pastor Shaina Morrow.

  • firefly hollow (birth-preschool)

    Do you love to cuddle babies? Or color with preschoolers? Then join the Firefly Hollow team, where you can provide a safe space where children explore who Jesus is, and are loved and cared for while their parents attend church to develop their own faith. It takes a village to raise a child...will you be part of that village?

  • Kidz Church (Grades K-4)

    Kidz Church is a high energy place where kids get to be kids AND learn about Jesus. From worship, to large group talk, from small group discussion to activities and games, Kidz Church will be a place where you can reinforce basic concepts of faith. Kidz Church meets during the 10:30am service, so plan to attend the 8:45am service and serve the second service. It'll be time well spent!

  • special needs Buddies

    Some children require a little extra support in order to thrive in a children's ministry program. If you love kids, especially those with special needs, consider being a Sunday buddy. You'll minister to the child, the parents, and the other ministry staff.

  • CLUB 56 (Grades 5-6)

    Each Sunday during the 10:30am service, 5th and 6th graders gather to worship and learn more about developing their faith. The transition from elementary to middle school can be a tough one, and this group of students NEED caring adults in their lives. Will you be that positive role model that they need?

  • CREW 78 (Grades 7-8)

    Junior High...remember those days? Most of us do and remember how challenging those years were. It's no different today. Students this age face lots of pressure on many fronts, and they could use a caring adult to help them navigate all that is going on during this critical time in their lives. CREW 78 meets on Wednesday evenings, so come out and enjoy Wednesday Night Bite and stay. You'll make a bigger difference than you'll probably ever know!

  • CLYM High (Grades 9-12)

    High school students gather each Sunday night to connect with one another and God. They experience a large group teaching, small group discussion and lots of fun and games. If you'd like to invest in the lives of those who will soon transition to adulthood, this is the place for you.
