Classes and groups at curtis Lake

Curtis Lake Church provides social, study, and support groups for you to connect with others and have a safe place to talk about life. No matter what kind of group you are looking for, or what stage of life you're in, we want you to be in community with people who encourage you, help you grow, and have fun! Classes are special-topic, generally short-term groups. For a full listing of offerings, email Pastor Shaina Morrow.

  • Curtis Lake 101

This four-week series is hosted by Pastor Josh every Wednesday night and is intended for newcomers who want to get better acquainted with and connected to the church family. We will cover all the basics, including our ministry priorities, values and beliefs, plus every attendee will learn what it means and how to become a member of Curtis Lake. Sessions will be interactive with plenty of time for Q&A each week. The cycle of sessions rolls out every month, so if you miss one week, you can catch it the next time around. The class meets at 7:00PM, with an optional dinner before (Wednesday Night Bite).

  • GRIEF SHARE

Losing a loved one is uniquely personal. Experiencing the grief of loss is universal and everyone has had to, or will at some point, navigate through this agonizing part of life while trying to hold it all together. GriefShare support groups are led by people who understand loss and want to be there to help you through the process. You'll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources and the help you need to learn to look forward to rebuilding your life.

  • CORE 52

This is a year-long Bible study with Pastor Josh covering some of the most pivotal passages in God's Word. A great group meeting time for retirees, late shift workers, etc. -- all ages welcome. We will be using the book Core 52, and anyone can attend whether they can come only occasionally or regularly, of ir they can attend only part of the year. Come for one week or every week.

connect groups

Perhaps you are looking for a more personal connection to others. Curtis Lake offers women's groups, men's groups, groups for young adults and other affinity groups.
