Sharon Rogers

Not long after I began attending Curtis Lake (1996), my husband and I were invited by some of our new friends to go camping over the 4th of July weekend. Despite a  torrential rain that flooded the campground while setting up, we had a great time and an annual tradition began...4th of July camping with friends from church. We play field games, go swimming and tubing, sit around the campfire and even play Candy Bar Bingo.

Our camping crew changes a bit each year, but one thing has never changed: the fun we have and the bonds we share. We even have second generation campers joining in on the Bingo fun now. Curtis Lake is not just my church, it's my family.
