On our 4th day in Mexico, we had a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a day of rest and visit a local marketplace. The marketplace was full of amazing people, many of whom were merchants selling handcrafted items like this bracelet. Looking at this bracelet reminds me of the gratitude that grew within me from this mission trip. I met the most wonderful people who reside in Mexico, and they oftentimes struggle to get their most basic needs met. But through it all, they remain strong in their love for one another and their love for Jesus! They are simply grateful for the love of Jesus Christ! So much hope and love in such a small item.
